General information about volunteering at Fork to fork

The  "Welcome to Fork to fork" document contains basic information about our site and what you can expect as a volunteer.

• If you decide you might like to volunteer regularly at Fork to fork, you should first contact the coordinators, who will be able to talk you through the process and show you round the site.You can contact us through the "contact us" page on this website, or email us at forktoforklancaster@gmail.com
• If after meeting us you decide to apply to volunteer, you will need to complete an application form and a Code of Conduct agreement. These can be downloaded from this page, but if you would like some help, a member of staff will be very happy to help you. 
• You will also need to ask someone who knows you (but not a relative) for a reference. The reference form can be found here, and can be returned to us by mail or email.
• Be assured that all information that you and your referee give us will be stored securely and treated in confidence in line with Data Protection legislation.

• Volunteer agreements run for one year. 
• If you wish to continue volunteering at Fork to fork, you will need to complete a Renewal form, and the code of conduct agreement each year. 
• You can download the forms here and return them to us either in person or by email at forktoforklancaster@gmail.com 
• However, if you would like help from a member of staff please just ask!

•  If you would like to help out at Fork to fork on an occasional basis, or for a short period of time (for example, to work on a particular project) you should complete an Associate Member application form and Code of Conduct agreement, which can be downloaded from this page.
• Please return the forms electronically if possible, by email forktoforklancaster@gmail.com
• However, it is difficult for you to return your forms electronically, we will happily receive paper copies.
• If you would like help filling in the forms, a member of staff will be happy to oblige.
